Hello Everybody

Apologies for the radio silence as of late. We are about halfway through building a house and life has been busy to say the least.

I said goodbye to the 501 and picked up a KTM 890 Adventure. Loving it so far and looking forward to some more local trips in months to come!

Also, my tailgunner and I will once again be hitting the dusty trail for the pilgrimage to the mecca known as the Unadilla Pro MX National. We will leave (weather dependent 😅) on Wednesday August 9th and jump on the MABDR here in southern PA. We moto camp along the BDR for the following 2 days and then ride the twisty pavement in NY to the track, where we watch the National Race and return Sunday. If anybody would like to tag along please reach out for details!

Took the dirtbike for a lap around the Kenda - 9 hours of Havok track today (+9 miles) and found some hellacious rocks. Then had a last minute invite to put down some miles on the Dualsports after 4pm

35ish miles, got to see some great views and enjoy the sunshine 🤟🏻

RIDING “SCOUT’s LOOP” on Saturday 07/02. Meeting at 930am.

630 Church Road, Fairhope PA 15538. Parking lot if you decide to tow and unload.

100-120 miles mostly gravel/dirt with a fuel stop around 80ish miles. Prolly lunch too. Adv/dualsport friendly. Last week we saw a Black bear and several deer. Not uncommon to find a rattler in the road. Ride at your own risk!

Was a beautiful day for a ride!

We managed to get about 50-60 miles of the Scout Loop done today before a downed bike and a flat tire caused the group to cut out early. . Things happen in this sport, but as the joke goes, “a bad day of riding is still better than good day at work”. Today was far from a bad day…

We did manage to see a black bear on the mountain, lots of deer, and pace a turkey at 24mph

Can’t wait to try it again soon. Stay tuned and keep the shiny side up 😅🤟🏻

WHAT A WEEKEND!!! We loaded up and headed East to help out with DelVal Trail Riders oldest Dualsport Ride in America, the Michaux Dualsport! Few days of setup, marking trails, and prepping for +300 bikes. We had amazing weather and a great turnout.

After parking cars we were able to gear up and ride 130 miles in and around Michaux State Forest. Multiple option routes that allowed bikes to ride on designated Atv, Horse, hiking, and mtb trails with permission and permits from DCNR. Sunday after the ride, the volunteers head back out on foot and remediate the trails with hand tools to preserve/repair trails for all the other people who utilize them throughout the year.

We had BRAAPtastic hook up the Husky 501 with some fresh GoldenTyres that took on the rocky terrain flawlessly 💪🏻. We also purchased a Rabaconda tire changer that we’ll be happy to share if anybody lives close and wants to swap out some tires 🤟🏻.

We are sore and exhausted but could not be happier with how much fun this event was. DelVal Trail Riders does an amazing job with everything they tackle. It really says something about an event when you volunteer your time and enjoy every minute of it! Be sure to give them a like and follow to find out about next year and the next ride, Foggy mountain enduro.
