This little birdie is just as peaceful and content this morning as he was yesterday. The sky hasn’t fallen, the risen sun is warming his body, and a gentle breeze is blowing across his feathers as he looks across the water.

“The Lord has established
his throne in heaven, and
his kingdom rules over all.”
Psalm 103:19

Earthly rulers change, but the great King of all remains unchanged forever. His purpose and His plan will never fail and cannot be thwarted by man. His timing is perfect. Let us faithfully fix our eyes on Him and continue to do good as we follow Him today. He is our hope and our hope will be fulfilled as He returns just as promised at the perfect time…and that time is one day nearer today. 👆

GW’s Bible From The Duck Blind coming to you this 1st day of November…

“Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not be weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:30-31

Are you tired? Deep down in your bones just soul-weary of the struggle and grind that seems to have no end.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28…

“Come to me, all you who are
weary and burdened, and I
will give you rest.”

The rest, and the healing, and new lease on life…all start with Jesus.

When you hear Him calling to you, do not turn away, but come to Him this day.
