Updated info for All-Stars meet:

Due to the rain we've received over the last few days, the rain today, and the forecast for more rain tomorrow, we will be moving the crash area and bullpen indoors.

If the weather ends up cooperating, you are welcome to set up your team outside. However, we wanted everyone to plan for the indoor layout.

Crash Area & Bullpen:
The gym will serve as the team crash area.
The bullpen will begin on the northwest side of the gym.
Swimmers will be escorted through the north side of the recreation pool into the competition (lap) pool.

Swimmer Traffic Flow:
To help keep the hallways as dry and safe as possible, we ask that swimmers:
Exit the competition pool and then walk along the south side of the lap pool.
Continue through the south side of the recreation pool.
Exit through the same door they entered.
Spectator Traffic

Please ask your parents to:
Use the stairs at the end of the hallway to access the upstairs viewing area whenever possible to minimize traffic through the workout area.
An elevator is located next to the gym for anyone who needs it.
We ask that spectators come and go from the viewing area as their swimmers compete, rather than remaining upstairs for the entire meet. This will help ensure everyone has an opportunity to watch their swimmers race.

Other Locations:
Concessions and Swimville USA will be located in the lobby.
The Cubby Hole and the food trucks will be located outside at both the north and south entrances.
As a reminder, only swimmers, coaches, officials, and volunteers are permitted on the pool deck.

All-Star meet info:
Warmups @ 8:15AM, please be at the pool by 8:00AM. Meet will start at 9:45.

The meet is at The Richard E Workman Sports Complex at 1301 N Maple St in Effingham.

Coach Ella will be there, she’ll find you to walk you in to warmups.

You will need tent, chairs etc, like a normal Saturday meet. You will sit outside, but go inside to watch the races. Then, back outside in between races.

Weather:
There is currently rain in the forecast. They will evaluate conditions tomorrow afternoon and let everyone know if we need to move the crash area indoors or make any other weather-related adjustments.

Food & Vendors:
We will have:
A full concession stand
Several food trucks
Swimville USA for all of your swim gear needs
The Cubby Hole selling All-Star shirts.

Year end banquet Tuesday at the First Christian Church. We will be in the multi purpose room and plan to eat at 6:00pm.

Meal provided by the FAST board, bring a dessert to share if you’d like.

Don’t forget to bring a couple of pictures, if your swimmer wants to make a poster!

Red/white/blue-American theme. Totally optional but several of the kids like to dress up for the theme.

Worker list is attached.

We still need someone to help haul chairs after the meet, some extra tents, and a 2nd shift heat prize volunteer.

We will be setting up Friday evening at 7:00pm, if anyone is available to help.
