🏊‍♀️ 10 days til registration! 🏊‍♂️

Here’s a few notes for this upcoming season:

We’re excited to announce Ella Sager as our new Head Swim Coach!

You’ve seen her around the pool for years, she’s just taking on a new roll this season. A competitive swimmer for 12 years, Ella brings experience, dedication, and a true love for the sport. With her friendly face and positive energy, she’s already a great fit as part of the FAST team in this new role. Ella is passionate about helping swimmers grow, build confidence, and enjoy every moment in the water.

Assistant Coaches Sarah Rush and Addie Lafikes are back this season too, along with Junior Coaches Emeri and Nora. We’re excited to have them all back teaching our swimmers. They come with fun, loving attitudes and a great knowledge of the sport. They are all excited to see their swimmers and work with you all again!

New this season: we will be offering a few extra stroke clinic dates. These will be offered on Wednesday mornings, but more information will come about those regarding specific dates etc.

The Fairfield Area Swim Team is ready for another exciting season—and we want YOU to join the FAST Piranhas! 🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️

📅 Registration Day: Sunday, May 3, 2026
⏰ Time: 2:00 – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Park District Building
👥 Ages: 5–18

💥 Important: Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool freestyle.

Our FAST Piranhas had 10 swimmers compete the Summer All-Star meet on Saturday at Effingham. All of our swimmers had great swims and many personal best swims for the day. Way to finish the season strong!

Congratulations to our 2 All-Star overall high point winners:
Kennedy Glisson-1st place for 7-8 girls and
Ella Sager - 3rd place for 15-18 girls.

All-Star meet info:
We are swimming as the ILLIANA SWIM CONFERENCE!
Also, the event list is different than our usual line-up... 100 IM's, but everything else is 50's for 9 and older. 8 and under are 25s still.
The pool is indoors, but families will camp outside, so still pack like you would for a normal Saturday meet! Our team usually all tries to sit in the same area.
