IHRA Summit SuperSeries

This $275,000 program is the World Championship for IHRA member track sportsman racers. Summit Racing Equipment, the Official Mail Order Company of IHRA, sponsors this revolutionary program for IHRA's thousands of grassroots racers. Providing the base for the Summit SuperSeries are nearly 70 IHRA member tracks within regional IHRA divisions. The competition is populated by

Sportsman competitors, or ET Bracket Racers, who are the backbone of grassroots drag racing. The two tiers comprising the Summit SuperSeries are the Summit SuperSeries World Championship and the Summit Team Finals. IHRA Summit Team Finals
At the end of the drag racing season, each track selects a team of racers from among its top points finalists. Drivers compete in several performance-based categories, which may include: Top, Modified, Sportsman, Motorcycle & Junior Dragster. Racers will eliminate down until a Summit Team Finals Team Champion and individual class champions are crowned. IHRA Summit World Finals
This program will crown a true Top (Box), Mod (No Box) Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster World Champion. There are three ways to gain entry into the Summit SuperSeries World Championship race. You can qualify for the World Championship by either winning the Summit SuperSeries track championship at your participating IHRA member track, by winning the Summit Team Finals main event in your division or win a Sportsman Spectacular event!

🚨 IHRA SPORTSMAN SERIES UPDATE! 🏁

The $300,000 IHRA Sportsman Bracket Racing Series World Finals will be contested at Darana Motorsports Park in North Carolina.

Home to some of the best traveling events and series in the country, Darana Motorsports Park will welcome IHRA World Finals qualifiers for the season ending championship for IHRA bracket racers on November 5-7, 2026.

The IHRA World Finals is an invite only event for eligible IHRA members who qualify by winning their IHRA sanctioned track’s points championship or meeting the eligibility requirements and winning an IHRA Team Finals main event. Any of IHRA’s 115 member tracks may submit their champions for eligibility verification.

More event details will be posted in the coming weeks on the sportsman racing page of IHRA.com.

The third stop of the Fendt High Stakes Series was a pivotal point in the season as pullers further ramped up their efforts to be at the top of their respective classes. The two sessions at Darana Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina was filled with highs and lows (on and off the track) and many challenges. Pullers, track crew and fans perservered through a rain delay on Friday and Saturday were part of a fast-paced show with dramatic and emotional wins. We thank all of them for being with us in-person or as a fan watching online. We want to thank our host facility Darana Motorsports Park as a premier facility for motorsports, and the community of Benson being a welcoming partner as well. Our sponsors are an essential part of the series and offer profound support.
