⚽💙 PAL Soccer Starts This Saturday, September 5th! 💙⚽

We are so excited to kick off the season and see everyone on the fields! A few quick reminders:

📋 Code of Conduct: Please help us keep PAL Soccer fun, positive, and supportive for all players, coaches, families, and officials.

🧑‍⚖️ Support Our Referees: Many of our refs are young and still learning! Please be patient, encouraging, and respectful. Mistakes will happen—we’re all here for the kids! 💙

👕 Fan Club Shirt Fundraiser: Coaches will be sending home fundraiser information. Every player who participates will receive a PAL Soccer T-shirt!

🥞 Concessions will be OPEN Saturday! Grab some breakfast and support PAL Soccer! Donations of food, supplies, or your time are also greatly appreciated.

Parents, please stop by the soccer shed tomorrow before, during, or after your child’s session. The registration system did not ask for shirt sizes, so I need to get everyone’s shirt size before I can place the order on Monday.

⚽ Hello Soccer Families! ⚽

The first day of the season is just a few days away! I know some of our kids are getting pretty excited—and we are too! 😊

A reminder that Saturday will NOT be our typical game day. We will have each age group at a different time, and the kids will rotate through some skills/drills and scrimmage time to kick off the season.

⚽ Saturday's Schedule

8:00 AM – PreK-K & 5th/6th Grade
9:30 AM – 1st/2nd Grade
11:00 AM – 3rd/4th Grade

PreK-K Parents: I just ask that you sit on the side of the field closest to the soccer shed. We will use the far side of the field, toward the woods, for our stations, while a scrimmage will be happening on the field. This will help keep the kids focused and make it easier for us to move between activities.

🥤 Concessions will be open! We’ll have drinks and a few small snacks available throughout the morning.

We’re looking forward to a fun first day of soccer! ⚽💙

⚽ **SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT SOCCER!** ⚽

Here’s some information to help everyone know what to expect as we get ready to kick off the season!

📅 **FIRST DAY OF SOCCER — SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH**

Our first day will be a **Round Robin & Team Placement Day**.

**It is VERY important that players attend the Round Robin!** This gives the coaches and me a chance to see the players play and helps us make sure teams are **balanced and as evenly matched as possible.** We want everyone to have a great experience this season!

After the Round Robin, the coaches and I will meet to make sure all players are placed on a team. Once teams are finalized, a coach will reach out to you with your team’s **practice night.**

⚽ **GAME SCHEDULE**

I will need a little time to put together the game schedule. We tend to have quite a few registrations come in right at the deadline, and if that means we need to recruit another coach and add another team to an age group, I want to make sure everything is organized correctly.

The **game schedule should be ready by Wednesday, September 2nd.**

📝 **REGISTRATION**

I can accept paper registrations on **Saturday, August 29th**, but **I will NOT be accepting registrations after that date.**

Please make sure your child is registered online by **August 26th**. The registration system will be closing that night.

📣 COACHES: If you are interested in coaching this season, please plan to meet at the PAL fields at 5:00 PM this Sunday, August 16th. We’d love to have you join us!

📝 REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Please make sure your child is registered by August 25th!

📍 IN-PERSON REGISTRATION:
Sunday, August 16th | 4:00–5:00 PM

👟 CLEAT DROP/SWAP:
The cleat drop/swap will also be happening Sunday from 4:00–5:00 PM. Bring any cleats your child has outgrown and see if you can find a new-to-them pair!

We are collecting cleats at the soccer shed for the cleat swap!

📝 PAPER REGISTRATION
Anyone who still needs to complete a paper registration form, please stop by the soccer shed this Sunday between 4:00–5:00 PM.

🧑‍🏫 COACHES MEETING – THIS SUNDAY | 5:00 PM
Anyone interested in coaching this season—new and returning coaches—please meet me at the soccer fields at 6:00 PM this Sunday.

There will be a few small adjustments to the program this season that I would like to review with everyone in person.

If you are new and interested in coaching, I will also have some paperwork for you to complete.
