Country Club Hills Pool

Country Club Hills Pool Country Club Hills Recreation Corporation (CCH Pool), is an organization focused on providing a fun On April 5, 1956 the CCHRC charter was made official.

The founding members held their first meeting on March 19, 1956 which set into motion the formation of CCHRC. Shortly after the formation of the corporation the land was purchased and construction of the pool began. Late August 1958, the swimming pool was opened for a one month period and closed soon afterwards late in September. As unbelievable as it may seem, CCHRC members were already swimming

during the construction of the original pool house. Over the winter months construction was completed and the pool was officially opened on May 30, 1959.

We’ve got a few things lined up as we head to the finish line here at CCH. As some of you may know, the school year has started! Join us this Sunday August 30th 10am - 12pm for our Back To School Brunch. This is a great opportunity to ease our way into the school year. CCH Pool will be hosting Ice-Pops & Cops event tomorrow August 21st at 4 pm. We’ll provide the treats and you’re in charge of bringing a good time! The City of Fairfax Police Department will be joining us, so this will be perfect for any police fans in the family.

That’s right! It’s our last Movie Night of the summer. Join us this Saturday August 8th for Movie Night. We plan on starting the movie around 7pm so get there early if you want a good spot. Of course, there’s plenty of room to swim around or to sit by the pool, so come by when you can!

We’ll keep the movie a mystery. Join us and you’ll find out!

Attention CCH Pool members, Daniels Run Woods is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 - 8:00pm in the CCH Pool parking lot. This is a fun event for young kids, especially those who are fire truck/police car fans!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that’s held across the country to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Although this is not a CCH Pool event, members are more than welcome to join in on the fun! See you tomorrow!

Tomorrow Friday July 31st is Guard Appreciation Day! Be sure to thank a lifeguard and let them know how awesome they are. Our lifeguards wear many hats. Making sure people are safe, the poolhouse is in order, and even as DJs at CCH ;) But seriously, we are so thankful for our guards so a big shoutout to them.

Members, we’ve got a busy weekend coming up at the pool. Here’s what’s going down.

Pep Rally This Friday

The Sharks will be having their Pep Rally tomorrow Friday July 17th. Hours of Operation as well as swimming lanes will not be affected, however the Pavilion will be occupied. This will take place 5:30 - 7:30pm.

Shorter Hours on Saturday

CCH will be hosting their swim meet Saturday July 18th, so the pool will be opening later during the day. The 13+ Lock In will also be taking place in the evening so the pool will be closing early. Saturday’s hours are 12:00 - 7:00pm. The pool will open as normal on Sunday (10:00am).

Ice Cream Social on Sunday

Join us this Sunday July 19th 3:00 - 5:00pm for our Ice Cream Social. Come cool down and grab a treat!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Join us tomorrow July 11th for our movie night. We will be watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie! It’s a great watch while we wait for the sequel to come out. We’ll start the movie around 7pm.

We also have our Shark Day Brunch this Sunday. There will be food and shark crafts for kids. Brunch is 10am - noon!
