Occoquan Boat Club

Occoquan Boat Club Recreational and competitive sculling www.rowobc.org Scullers of all ages join the club for recreation as well as competition.

The Occoquan Boat Club recruits members interested in rowing, sponsors crew races, sends teams to regattas, and generally supports rowing in Northern Virginia. The focus of the club has been on sculling, and club members have the use of an enviable fleet of 23 singles, doubles and quads. The club’s fleet is housed at Sandy Run Park on the Occoquan Reservoir, which boasts some of the best rowing co

nditions in the mid Atlantic region. OBC does not offer coached programs, but members form groups that gather regularly to do race pieces or recreational outings. Each year OBC sponsors two highly regarded regattas: the Head of the Occoquan and the Occoquan Masters Sprints. We invite all interested scullers and rowers to join us on the Occoquan.
