š Couples Classic 2025: Officially in the Books! š
What a weekend! With 292 players across 10 flights (including a Championship flight with 14-15 couples each!), and payouts to the top 4 in every flight, this yearās Couples Classic was nothing short of legendary.
āļø Hot? Thatās an understatement.But these fabulous ladies and gents showed up in style, braving the July heat for a three-day celebration that rocked not just Fairdaleābut courses all across the city! We welcomed players from Woodhaven, Audubon, Iroquois, Bobby Nichols, GlenOaks, Bardstown, Midland, Nevel Meade, Valhalla, Oldham, and more. The energy was electric!
šŖ Shoutout to the Dream Team:ā¢ Matt and the entire staffāyou were outstanding, powering through long hours with grace and grit.ā¢ Chase and the maintenance crewāthe course looked phenomenal and held up beautifully!ā¢ David, Jesse, Mike, and the pro shop crewāyou were on top of every detail, staying late to ensure a smooth, joyful experience for all.
š Ron Thomas was with us in spirit, as we strolled and carted down the beloved Ron Thomas Lane. š Style points galore Gilmore! From matching outfits to bold statement looks, you brought the fashion and the fun. Special nod to Bill & Jan Powars and Claude & Linda Crickāthe OGs who havenāt missed a Couples Classic since the invention of the wheel (okay, maybe not that long agoābut close!).

š A Reverse Drawing Debut to Remember! šThis year marked our first-ever Reverse Drawing, and it was a hitāthanks to the one and only Mr. Ed Wilkie for leading the charge! The suspense, the laughs, the cheersā¦ it was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable tournament weekend.š Big congrats to Ann-Micheal Dierson, who walked away with the grand prize! Did she share with Jeremy? š¤ Weāre not sureā¦ but we are pretty confident her shoe collection just got a fabulous upgrade.
