I haven’t posted in a while but I’m in the shop and have back making quite a few calls. These calls just need some finish and the calling surfaces glued in and they will be ready. We shipped out this black walnut Scratch ‘N’ Purr box last week to a customer. It is good to be back in the shop building calls. We have been busy upgrading the wood shop for winter recently. Here are some great recent calls we have built. The three featured in the first two photos were for a wedding party. The next few pictures were sold to some great customers of ours! Check out the 5th picture to see our cluck ‘n’ purr pots! The 2020 Limited Edition Calls Scratch ‘N’ Purr Boxes are complete. We only made 10 of these calls. The calls and scratch box strikers are made from yellow heart, bocote, and hickory. The two piece dymondwood striker with an oak top is for the cluck ‘n’ purr strip on the bottom of the call. Calls #4, #8, and #9 are still available. The rest are spoken for. Good morning everybody. We have a double sided scratch box for sale that has been sitting in the shop for a little while now. This called is made from ambrosia maple, black walnut and red heart.
