Congratulations to 2026 MARS Late Model Championship powered by FK Rod Ends GoSunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year, Dylan Thornton!

Thornton picked up his first career MARS victory in August at Macon Speedway for the KerbyStrong, but he didn’t stop there... He also parked it in victory lane at The Belle Clair Speedway and at Highland Speedway. In 23 events he captured 10 top-5 finishes, and 16 top-10 finishes.

Congratulations to 2026 MARS Modified Championship powered by Summit Racing Equipment GoSunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year, Matthew Baker!

Baker picked up his first career MARS victory back in May at Coles County Speedway. In 19 events he captured 2 top-5 finishes, and 6 top-10 finishes, as he topped the largest field of MARS Modified rookies in series history.

Congratulations to 2026 MARS Modified Championship powered by Summit Racing Equipment Champion, Michael Ledford!

This is Ledford’s first career MARS title! In 19 feature events he captured 4 wins, 13 top-5 finishes, and 16 top-10 finishes. His victories came at Peoria Speedway, Fairbury American Legion Speedway, Benton Speedway, and The Belle Clair Speedway.

Last Friday night, at Lucas Oil Speedway, Chase Junghans picked up his first career MARS Late Model victory! He goes down as the 94th different winner in the history of the tour, and was one of eleven victors in 2026.

ABOUT LETHAL CHASSIS: Owners David & Ashley Stremme founded Lethal Chassis in Mooresville, North Carolina late in the year of 2014. The first full year of Lethal Chassis being operational, 31 cars were built for competition. Last weekend's "Late Model Fall Nationals" at Lucas Oil Speedway wrapped up the 2026 MARS Late Model Championship powered by FK Rod Ends season!

Congratulations to Ryan Unzicker for capturing his second career MARS title and to Dylan Thornton for an amazing rookie campaign that was good enough to bring home GoSunoco Rookie of the Year honors!

2026 started out rough with 5 consecutive events taken from us by Mother Nature, but the series hit it's stride beginning at the end of April as we were able to complete 23 feature events from that point forward. The series averaged 29 entries per night with 177 drivers taking part in our events. We appreciate each and every team that took part in our shows and a special thank you to all 8 teams that finished the season in full-time capacity.

A huge thanks goes out to every race track/promoter that held a MARS show in 2026 and to each of our team members that gave up their weekends all season long to help put on the best possible show in regional racing.

Thank you to each and every one of our marketing partners that choose us as a platform to promote their product and/or services. Without them, none of this would be possible, nor would we be able to offer the money and awards to the race teams all season long.
