So the season ended this weekend. The girls played a tough tournament schedule in the Illinois State Championship B Class. They finished 3rd out of 24 teams from throughout the Midwest.

The team finished with an organization record:

56-10-1 season record

Class "C" State Championship
HOI League Division Champs
HOI League 14U Championship
Windmill Classic 14U Championship

Without all of your hard work and dedication to this group of young ladies the success we had wouldn't have been possible.

Most of all congratulations to the players and families!!! The dedication of you and your families are what make this team a family. Look at what you accomplished this season and remember, we are an in town team. You will carry this with you for the next few years as a player and you will remember this season as your daughters play softball many years into the future.

CONGRATULATIONS Ladies!!!! The Express move on to the winners bracket semifinals with two big wins today.

A great shutout performance from Dixie Hogan in the first game as the Express racked up 11 runs on 11 hits with Sam Slagel collecting two HR's on the evening!!!!

The second game was a great come from behind game where The Express trailed 7-4 coming into what would be their last at bat. Jules Woodrey got the win and Kaylee Skaggs had the go ahead RBI in the fourth inning and Audrey Coomber added an insurance run with a walk as time expired. We play again Saturday at 9am in Makinaw for the winners bracket spot in the championship!!!!!

Another Congratulations to these great ball players! What a weekend for everyone on the team!!! Also a big thanks to the parents for investing all the windshield time over the years and this year especially to get this team to where they are. Which is 2 tournament championships and currently a staggering 42-8-1 record!!!!! A NEW PC EXPRESS WIN RECORD!!!!
