You know what’s crazy, I just went down my Facebook pictures and came across some old postpartum pictures… this is how I kmow
Body dysmorphia is real…

back then I literally felt like I was not snapping back fast enough after having my baby. This was 9 and 10 months postpartum. I was driving myself crazy tryna get back to pre pregnancy weight….I wanted to stop breastfeeding so many times so I could take my fat burners so I could lose more weight. looking back now I’m like you really was tripping.

And it’s still like this today. I often catch myself criticizing my physique and don’t want to take pictures or I’ll take pictures and don’t post them because I don’t like how my body looks… and weeks down the road I’ll find myself looking at those same pictures and realize I was tripping and that my body was just fine.

And I know it’s many of you out there now looking at old pics remembering how you felt about your body back then, thinking you were big and needed to lose some weight when u def didn’t need to lose any weight.

And it’s so important to become aware of those behaviors… because this too can lead to an unhealthy relationship between you, your body and your fitness journey.

Hey Friend, ever wondered why so many people are talking about high protein diets these days? No clue? okay stay with me. Below i will give you 5 reasons why women, especially over the age of 30 should consider upping their daily protein intake.
