Makeup Fitting is at 2pm today for anyone registered that hasn’t completed this yet.

Also be on the lookout for a series of emails that will detail our upcoming season of events.

It is imperative that we all stay on the same page with communication, to ensure the best possible results throughout the season.

Once schedule is released you folks will have that information in order to prepare for volunteering assignments each week.

📣 FOOTBALL UNIFORM FITTINGS 📣

Reminder: football fittings for 4th-6th grades are next Saturday, May 18th.

* Please bring copy of birth certificate for anyone that did not participate last season.

* Parent or guardian must be present to sign paperwork.

* You may bring siblings at same time in whichever slot works best for you.

* We will accept in person registrations and payments during fittings.

* Any bantam or 3rd grade player that is unable to attend their scheduled fittings on June 1st may come to this fitting.

📣 PHYSICAL FORMS 📣

Please read carefully as we cannot make exception to WOJFC physical bylaws.

1) This is only accepted form (we cannot accept OHSAA forms).

2) The physical must be PERFORMED in 2024 calendar year. We cannot accept forms that physical was performed in 2023 and doctor just filled out in 2024. This means you may need to get a sports physical if it’s not time for your annual exam. Shaffer Chiro offers sports physicals as well as most urgent cares.

3) We must receive ORIGINAL copy. No fax or email copies.

4) Physicals must be turned in prior to receiving equipment or starting practice.

We will have blank forms available during fittings. They can also be printed from our website under “downloads”.

Welcome to the 2024 6th grade Weehawks page where I’m hopeful for the season, but want to let you know we could use some more volunteers for the upcoming season.

Currently we have the following covered

Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator
Team Mom

We Need the following positions filled
Defensive Coordinator
Special Teams Coordinator
OL / DL Coordinator

People applying must understand this is a teaching moment for the players as we are attempting to teach these gentlemen the basics of the Varsity program. Even though I’m labeled the HC I’m wanting my staff to be co-coaches and open to communication this way we avoid any conflict or disconnection throughout the season.

I’ve been a coach since 2008 In various sports with multiple years as an assistant in the football department.

This will be a fun season and hopefully a rewarding experience, I’m in the process of trying to lockdown the FHS commons for a informational meeting to gauge interest in the program and upcoming season.

I’m searching for leaders & dawgs to point our program in the right direction will it be your student athlete.
