Jujitsu....
Part of Jujitsu is being able to grow. I mean after all unless you can grow, you will never have the opportunity to become more. And of course with growth there is growing pains.
We were given an opportunity to merge with Dayton MMA. They, like us, have a huge heart for the art and offer some stellar instructions at a very generous price.
So in being able to help the two schools to grow we are shutting our doors in Fairborn at the end of the month and joining up with them in Beaver Creek. I want to personally thank Chris Lehman and Micheal Cox for allowing our gyms to grow. So get off that couch and come join us at: 3329 Seajay Dr, Beavercreek, OH 45431. For gosh sake spring is around the corner and you know you'll want to sport those speedoes!

Something that bothers me... And no, I can assure you it does not happen at this gym! Look, if you are going to take money to teach students Jujitsu. Then pay attention to your students. Not your phone and certainly not to people who are not training. And if you are paying for lessons and the instructor is too busy on his phone to roll with you, or to watch how your moves look..... Then perhaps you should seek out another gym.

It's not always easy to stay the course, I have seen my fair share of students leave after one or two classes, and never come back. Look, if you want to be good at anything, it takes a lot of boring repetition at times. But ask any of us who has won a tournament, or survived a street encounter. And they will tell you what made the difference was not just the rolling, but the repetition of drills as well.

It's been a hell of a run... But we got another purple belt at the gym.
