Ice Puppies

10/05/2026

Hey we are busy over here learning and improving our skills for the 2026-2027 season 🏒

Our newest skaters took to the ice today for our 6 week Learn 2 Hockey program! It was incredible to see so many players skating unassisted and learning something new! These brave skaters can’t wait to get back to the rink!

ALL PATTY ICE IS CANCELLED WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26TH DUE TO ZAMBONI ISSUES.

Interested in joining NAHA’s Grizzlies Academy and coaching at the Learn to Hockey, 6U, or 8U level? If so, grab your gear and join us at Patty Rink on Saturday, September 5th from 9:45-11am to learn what you need to do to join us on the ice. The ice is free, and so are the donuts and coffee that will be provided. Come out and skate, meet others interested in helping with youth hockey, and leave with an understanding of what you need to become a hockey coach. Don’t settle for watching hockey when you can be on the ice making a difference!

Looking for helpers!

🏒✨ Volunteers Needed for Golden Days Hockey Float! ✨🏒

The Golden Days Parade is just around the corner, and we’re excited to showcase our interior hockey community with an incredible float! We are celebrating our love for hockey, our community, and Alaska’s Golden Heart spirit.

We can’t do it without YOU!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
🏒 Building the float
⭐ Decorating and adding creative touches
🇺🇸 Setting up before the parade
🎉 Walking alongside the float during the parade
💙 Making this a fun and memorable experience for our hockey families and community

Whether you have a few hours to spare or can help throughout the project, we’d love to have you on the team. No special skills are needed just a willingness to pitch in and have fun!
