Hey friends! Let's introduce our next Star Guest for this week's podcast, Dillon Barr
Dillon has nearly two decades of experience in sales and consulting, but his focus is on sparking imagination and creativity in the next generation. He and his team created Unfound Adventures and the fantasy world of Bastunia about 8 years ago. Since then, they have released ten works set in this world, including comics, children's books, novels, and short stories. The heart of the mission is creating an interactive universe that their followers and their kids can be a part of. Characters are created inspired by kids, and their stories are incorporated into UA's creative works. To tackle the recent dips in cognitive testing and literacy rates, Barr and his team look to make reading and imagination FUN first, giving kids the confidence they need to want to grow and learn more. Their next project is a monthly booklet sent to kids. It includes short stories, reading comprehension questions, and projects, quests, and missions they can do in and around the home that require little to no screen time. He's a husband and father of two who plays make-believe daily.

And now to introduce our final podcast Star Guest for the week
Jess is a single mom to a teenage son. She works full time and part time with the homeless population. She started her podcast in June of 2022 called Unapologetically Overcoming. It discusses topics that usually have a negative stigma associated with them. Her hope is that by talking about such topics, people will see that they too can overcome difficult situations and hopefully the stigmas can be eliminated.
Jess launched her own life coaching business early in 2024 called Unapologetic Life Coaching LLC. She offers services that focus on self love, mindset transformation, gratitude practices, and how to overcome barriers so you can live a full, authentic, unapologetic life. She also helps her navigate loss, specifically the loss of a sibling. Since the unexpected loss of her sister, she has discovered new purpose in helping others navigate grief and loss, as it is vital to the healing process. She is also an author of the brand new book, Unapologetically Grieving.
