Check it out! FLAX - Fairbanks Lacrosse has a camp and their July season starting next week (Monday 9/11).

Did you know that lacrosse is currently the fastest growing youth sport in the United States? FLAX is excited to continue providing opportunities for kids in Fairbanks to learn how to play lacrosse for our second year!

𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐒 $125. This year we are excited to announce that we have a guest coach that will be running our 2 weeks of mini-camps! Choose either the July 11th session or the July 18th session. Camps are Monday through Thursday, 2.5 hours long days.

𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍(𝐒) $80. Although the July season was supposed to start last week, we were unfortunately cancelled due to air quality. The good news in that is that you haven't missed a single day if you haven't signed up yet! FLAX weeknight sessions will be a 4-week, one-night-a-week commitment. Options will exist for July (Tues or Thurs) or August (Mon or Tues). These weekly sessions will involve basic skill development and scrimmages, with local lacrosse-loving adults volunteering their time to coach and share their love of this sport.

Try Ultimate Frisbee for FREE!!!

Open to youth in grades 3rd through high school (but adults should check out grown up MSU options available online as well!)

Thanks to the generous support from Usibelli Coal Mine the first 100 participants for this new program will be able to register at NO COST! These free spots will go fast, so sign up soon!

Choose from daytime mini camps or evening activities as a way for your child to try out this super fun sport! Free enrollment courtesty of UCM will apply to the following options:

3-day mini camp (2.5 hours each day) on Tues/Wed/Thurs the week of June 6. Option for mornings (10am-12:30pm) or afternoons (1:30pm-4pm).

OR

3-day mini camp, same as above, but for the week of June 13

OR

4 week, 1-night-a-week, (1 to 1.5 hours depending on age group), between 5:45pm and 7:15pm. Options for Monday or Wednesday.

The first 100 participants will also receive a free, custom disc and all players will get a sweet MSU jersey.

In the registration form you will also see options for a 4-week evening programs for both July and August.

RadioShack ads used to always say 'You've got questions. We've got answers'.

Well we've got answers to your questions as well, but we're still preparing details for the coming summer programs.

So hold tight for now and look forward to updates that we'll share in the near future!

We CAN tell you some basic info for MSU 2022 plans!

Programs are going to be offered for youth in 2nd grade through high school. Our summer programs are always 'the grade a player is going into in the fall', so that youngest age would be those students currently in 1st grade.

There will be a couple options for free, try-it-out kind of events, for interested participants to come toss a disc around and learn a thing or two from some local Ultimate enthusiasts.

There will be various weeks in late May and early June for daytime, weekday mini camps, morning and afternoon options.

There will be a few 4 week sessions throughout the summer, with just a once-a-week commitment, so families can enjoy other activities and sports. There will a 4 week June season (weeknights and Saturday morning options), 4 week July season (Saturday morning option only in July) and 4 week fall season (weeknights) in August.

We're excited to weave these programs into the overall calendar of Fairbanks Youth Soccer and FLAX - Fairbanks Lacrosse plans and hope to see familiar and new faces out there on the fields!
