EKA Hoops A fun way to bring out the kid in everyone. We make unique hand made hula hoops. Just like people , Eka hoops is founded here in Fair Oaks CA.

Fun fact: The Greeks used hooping as a form of exercise and still today Native American hoop dance has been recognized as a cultural heritage. Hooping is not just for the kids, although it could be a fun way to bond with them. One of the great things about “hooping” is that there are so many ways to be creative with your body movements. Its a fun way to exercise and work out your core, arms and le

gs. The name Eka comes from the combination of two names; Erin and Kat. Founder Erin Smith made her self a hoop in 2008, after seeing these hoops at music and reggae festivals back in 2001. Seeing a new way of dance and hobby intrigued her. Then once she started, she was hooked. Erin hooped everywhere. lol She made it look so effortless. So she and her best friend Katharine Plamondon came to the idea to share the wealth and spread the love of hula hooping. Everyone is capable of this, you just have to try. Eka hoops believes in being active, being in nature and staying young in heart.

Recently my dog chica severely hurt her back. We took her to the vet and with x-rays and a radiologist professional opinion they came to the conclusion that she had compressed vertebrae‘s. Which put pressure on her spinal cord and has made her back legs partially paralyzed. She is possibly needi.....
