On Friday, May 29, 2026 Yamuna Zake moved on from her earthly body and expanded on the next adventure.

I had the privilege of learning from Yamuna directly over the last 16 years, and her body of work is what changed my life and body awareness after my stroke.
It is a surreal knowing that she is no longer on Earth, but her teachings, passion for helping others, and love of the ocean live on.
She created an incredible legacy, and part of my purpose is to share her work with as many people as possible.

Today marks 18 years since I had a stroke while I was pregnant with my second child.
It feels like a rebirth of sorts, this is a day I will always have etched into my memory.
As traumatic as that experience was, my healing journey had brought incredible awareness, humans, and love into my life.
I had the amazing opportunity to teach a workshop this morning with lovely people in attendance who were eager to hear my sharing of specific plant essences.
If I had never had the stroke I would not have been doing this workshop this morning.
You never know when tragedy is going to occur, but those experiences also may be your biggest teachers in life.

Yesterday I wore this shirt into the grocery store and was approached by another 311 fan and we talked for a few minutes.
It made my day, and I felt a connection with a person I hardly knew but also felt I knew so well as she is also connected to the music that runs so deeply through my life experience, same for her.
I loved 311 before my stroke and love them still to this day!
Be positive and love your life!

It helps me feel connected to my coffee- it’s more than a drink to me, it’s a full experience.

What seems off about this here?
Yeah it’s supposed to be a resource for women’s health…with a male doctor on the cover….
Taking a look inside there’s 6 male and two female doctors mentioned.
Nothing against this guy, but I have a feeling the editors were men.
What do you think?
