Thanks to all the super heroes, monsters, animals, and other ghostly characters that joined Exeter Parks and Recreation for the annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest this past weekend. We hope everyone had a spooky and safe time Trick or Treating downtown and around the community.

🎿 Heads up, Exeter families — Tier 1 pricing ends THIS Friday!

Registration is open for the 2027 Gunstock Ski & Snowboard Outreach Program, and if you're planning to sign your kids up, don't wait past Friday to lock in Tier 1 rates.

What's included:
🏔️ Discounted youth season passes to Gunstock Mountain Resort 🎿 Ski & snowboard lessons — optional, but free for ages 8–18
📅 Lesson dates: Tuesdays at 6:30pm — 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26
💵 $20 EPRD fee + Gunstock season passes/lessons $200–$400 (Tier 1 pricing ends Friday!)

Whether your kid is a first-timer on the bunny slope or already chasing powder, this is the easiest (and cheapest) way to get them on the mountain this winter. Available to children ages 8-18.

🏀 Exeter Rec Basketball — Deadline Coming Up Fast!

Parents of 3rd–8th graders in Exeter: don't miss the sign-up window for the 2026–27 Rec Basketball season! 🏀

Grades 3–8 registration closes October 30 — that's just 10 days away!

Here's what you need to know:

Grades 3–4: $135/resident · $145/non-resident
Grades 5–8: $165/resident · $175/non-resident
Season: Mid-week practice + Saturday games, Dec 5 – Feb 13
Register by 10/30 to lock in your child's spot this winter. Don't wait — spots fill up fast!

🏀 NEW THIS WINTER: GIRLS 1st–2nd GRADE 3v3 BASKETBALL!

We’re excited to launch a new girls-only 3v3 basketball program focused on fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and FUN!

The 3v3 format gives players more opportunities to handle the ball, make decisions, develop skills, and play the game.

Our goal is to increase girls’ participation in sports and create positive experiences that keep girls engaged in athletics.

Registration is now open!

Girls can:
• Play in the Girls 3v3 program
• Play in the co-ed 5v5 program
• Participate in both
