EXETER TOWN-WIDE YARD SALE IS COMING!

Ready to treasure hunt? Grab your coffee, load up the car, and get ready to shop Exeter!

The Town-Wide Fall Yard Sale is happening Saturday, September 19 from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, with yard sales popping up all across town. Registered addresses will be featured on an official digital and printable map so you can plan your shopping route and find all the hidden gems!

Want to participate? Exeter residents can register their address for $20. Registration closes Tuesday, September 15 at noon.

The Powder Keg Beer and Chili festival is just a little over a month away! We're reaching out to gather volunteers from all over to help make this event fantastic, especially in the admissions team. Our admissions volunteers are truly the first friendly faces attendees see—they set the warm, welcoming tone that makes the whole day special. Plus, volunteering comes with some great perks — you get a cool Powder Keg Beer and Chili festival t-shirt and free admission after your shift. After School Adventure: Enjoy outdoor time, games, arts & crafts, STEM projects and homework help
-Grades K-5

Schools Out Adventure: No school, No problem. For scheduled days off school join us at Schools out adventure for a day of creativity and play

Exeter Parks & Recreation is excited to introduce the BRAND-NEW Afterschool Adventure Program for the 2026–2027 school year! Designed for children in grades K–5, this fun-filled program will be held at the Exeter Parks & Recreation Community Center, located at 10 Hampton Road. ⚽️🧸📕✏️🍎

The Afterschool Adventure Program provides a safe, active, and engaging environment where children can unwind, learn, and play after the school day. Each afternoon will feature a wide variety of exciting activities, including outdoor play, adventures at Planet Playground, sports, group games, arts & crafts, STEM projects, homework assistance, and so much more. Every day brings new opportunities for fun, creativity, friendship, and discovery!

Program Information: Families may choose to enroll their child for 1 to 5 days per week, based on their needs at a rate of $35/day per child. The program is held from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Invoices will be sent out at the beginning of the month and weekly payments are required unless the invoice is paid upfront. The program will not be held on holidays, vacation weeks, or when school is cancelled or dismissed early due to inclement weather. Registration requires a deposit of just $35 which locks in your space for the entire school year.

Transportation Information: For the 2026-2027 School Year; transportation in the EPRD Van or School Bus will be available for students attending the following schools:
● Main Street School
● Lincoln Street School
Program staff will have a copy of the daily roster for each school. In the event that the school is not notified, program staff will not be able to collect your child at their school.
