Just For Kix - Minnetonka, MN The Minnetonka Area Just for Kix is a youth dance program that offers dance classes to all students We work on creating good habits with the younger dancers.

The Minnetonka Area Just For Kix program is for students ages 3 through 12th grade. Just for Kix is a wonderul program to help prepare dancers for the skill and technique that is needed for high school dance teams. AT JUST FOR KIX, KIDS SHINE

If your child's toes can't stop tapping...then Just For Kix is just the program for you. Our dance classes are the perfect way to introduce your child to th

e world of dance without having the high costs like other dance studios. We pride ourselves on providing a low stress, no pressure environment where young dancers can have fun while gaining relationships that will last a lifetime. TECHNIQUE and BASICS:

Basic placement and technique are a major focus. Coaches will provide the skill and technique to prepare dancers who are looking to try out for a High School Dance Team. Instruction is very hands on and focused. FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH is focused on too! They are 2 key factors in becoming a great dancer; challenging dancers to advance and progress to their top potential. CHOREOGRAPHY:

Our choreography is what built our business. It is creative and innovative. Choreography teaches kick technique as well as basic dance technique in a team environment that is very visual to our audiences. Our classes are fast paced and fun. We have great music and great instructors. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-Dancers will perform multiple times per season at large-scale events.
-Our older classes compete in a “low pressure” environment (2nd through 12th grade).
-Our dancers wear one costume for each class for the year. Our costumes are tasteful and focus on age appropriate styles.
-Just For Kix prides itself on being organized. We get it done! Class time is maximized so every minute is utilized. Our goal is to have each and every class start on time and end on time. Please Contact Kelsey Vercruysse at [email protected] for more information!

✨Directors Convention 2026 ✨
What an incredible convention! Out of more than 200 programs, Minnetonka JFK was recognized as the number 9 program overall and number 4 for bringing the most teams to TWD competitions.

Kelsey was honored to receive an award for our program’s growth and was also presented with the “Organized Like a Boss” Award.

The best part was connecting with fellow directors. Our team even took 1st place on game night at the pajama party, and we had an absolute blast together!

I’m leaving convention feeling inspired, motivated, and so excited to kick off year 15 at Minnetonka JFK! 💙

We are so excited to have Lucia join our coaching staff! One of Lucia’s strengths is her ability to connect with younger dancers. She is approachable, genuine and has a way of making dancers feel comfortable and excited to learn. Lucia brings years of solo experience and will be choreographing for our youngest aspiring soloists this season. We know she will do an amazing job helping these dancers build confidence, develop their skills, and fall even more in love with performing.

We are so excited to welcome Kennedy Wahl to our Minnetonka JFK coaching staff! 💙

Kennedy has been dancing for 12 years and is currently a member of our Senior Elite teams and the Minnetonka High School Dance Team. She is hardworking, dependable, positive, and always willing to help those around her. Kennedy leads with kindness and is always so encouraging to her teammates.

We know Kennedy is going to be such a great addition to our coaching staff, and we can’t wait for our dancers to learn and grow from her next season!
