‼️SPEED ME UP‼️⠀

FULL SPEED | Reactive Change of Direction and Reactive Visualization ⠀

Reactive change of direction or oscillation is the most taxing movement in sport. Moving into the athletes weakest position with very aggressive changes of direction will result in more efficiency. ⠀

Reactive visualization is trained by giving the athlete small visual cues on where the opponent is moving and reacting as quickly as possible to that movement.

SPEED ME UP! ⁣

FULL SPEED | 3 Dimensional Training & Reading Pressure⁣

When to give pressure and when to quickly take that pressure away to make an opposing move is an important skill to train in any “opponent” based sport. That pressure can be directly in contact with your opponent or it can be an amount of space or “bubble” determined by the speed of your opponent in all 3 planes of motion.

SPEED ME UP CAMP! T-Minus 35 Days! ⠀

FULL SPEED | Isometric Dynamic Contrast Training⠀

For best isometric speed results, move explosively immediately after the isometric. In this case we did exactly that and paired exercises that also were extremely dynamic.

⁣⁣
In order for an athlete to gain a faster acceleration the body must know that it can decelerate the body or limbs safely. This is the mechanism your body uses to stay healthy. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Train to decelerate and use eccentric loading in your strength exercises.

FULL SPEED | Isometric Sprints and Plyometrics.⁣

Isometrics in sprinting offers a really great tension relationship between muscle and tendons. Under isometrics, tendons lengthen, breaking down cross fibers in that tissue while causing higher muscle tension to pick up the “slack”. ⁣

Adaptations that will occur:⁣
•Collagen Deposited At The Broken Cross Fiber⁣
•More Elastic Tendon⁣
•Healthier Joint⁣
•Greater Muscle Contractile Strength⁣
•Faster Impulse At Change Of Direction⁣
•Better Mechanics At Direction Change

FULL SPEED | Eccentric Loaded Plyometrics and Sprint Training With Co-Contractions ⁣

🏃‍♀️⁣
Eccentrically loaded plyometrics and decelerations are great for solidifying muscular patterns. If you practiced the patterns correctly you can optimize force production on the concentric in a fast manner. ⁣

🏃🏽‍♂️⁣
Co-Contraction training for sprinting is ideally trained on non-uniformed surfaces like sand and natural areas. Co-Contractors are responsible for high speed stabilization so force can be produced.

Isometric loading while in Sprinting/Athletic posture greatly increases surrounding tissue to Remodel Rebuild and Adapt at attachment sites. ————————————This ensures that when an athlete encounters these positions in sport those tissues are strong enough to handle greater forces which ultimately leads to less injury. ————————————— In this case high level soccer players are focused on preventative knee injury. We attacked this by incorporating high Isometric stress on knee, ankle and hip positions all while sprinting.

Repost from using - Working with our Tonka Fusion Elite Program with strength speed and ACL injury prevention. Biggest focus with this training session was to have the players work on form mainly from the ground up. A toe up position upon ground contact is the most stable ankle position for a player. This stability travels up to knees and hips allowing them to increase stability as well.
