Good Morning...
This is Spruce Run Reservoir right now... all that green in front of me is normally covered with water.. this is still a great place to fish even with low water levels..
Here are some Fish species you can catch there
Spruce Run supports a genuinely diverse fishery (NJ Fish & Wildlife lists around 29 game fish species present), including:
Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, tiger muskellunge (historically stocked), hybrid striped bass, striped bass, trout (stocked), channel catfish and other catfish, carp, walleye, crappie, yellow perch, chain pickerel, various sunfish (bluegill, pumpkinseed, etc.), and alewife.
It's especially well known among NJ anglers as a hybrid striped bass and muskie destination.

Resident fishing license (ages 16–64): $22.50 | Non-resident: $34.00
Seniors 65–69 (resident): $12.50 | Seniors 70+: FREE
Trout Stamp (resident): $10.50 — required in addition to a license to fish for/keep trout
Anglers under 16 do not need a freshwater license
All freshwater licenses run on a calendar year — valid from date of purchase through Dec. 31
