Aloha! My name is Jen Munoz and I have been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years.

I’ve had certifications through AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) and currently have had my NASM certification (National Academy of Sports Medicine) for over 15 years. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and Coaching. My passion is fitness and teaching which is why personal training has been so rewarding. I LOVE helping and encouraging people accomplish t

heir fitness goals through individually designed fitness programs. Surf Instructing:

I also have a passion for surfing and teaching others the joy and FUN of surfing! I teach surf lessons through a series of sessions designed to progress clients from beginner level surfers, with a high amount of support, into confident, independent surfers. My motto is: "Give someone a fish, feed them for a day. Teach them to fish, feed them for a lifetime." By these words, I mean that my primary purpose through out my surf lessons is not just teaching how to stand up and ride the waves, but additionally teaching ALL aspects essential to knowing how to be a fully independent surfer. So, in addition to teaching proper standing up technique, I also teach essential water safety and water assessment information and important board maneuver techniques.....all of which you will need to learn in order to be a fully independent surfer.
