Stitches are out and the range of motion is a lot better. PT to increase strength and range of motion but I can wrap my finger around things a lot better! One more car appearance for this year then we will tear it down and start getting ready for next year!

A little different incision this time. A few Les stitches. Icing for the swelling, and need to start the PT again to keep it from building scar tissue. But I am very happy to have the plate and screws out. Got plenty of off time to get it back in shape!

Just finished surgery. Scar tissue had adhered to the bones hopefully I will get the range and dexterity back!

Little finger update. So I am scheduled for surgery again next Friday the 9th to remove the plate. It has shifted and came loose. They are thinking that there is scar tissue and the plate is limiting movement. I can still grip the wheel but I run into numbness mid main event. The surgeon is pretty confident that removing the plate will help. If not might have to remove it lol. We are I. The off seat so time to tear it down and mount a serious charge at some wins and titles. Been a while! I’ll keep you updated!

So our season has come to an end. Andy got rookie of the year at Skagit and with the focus midgets. With breaking my finger I was out for almost 2 months still had 4 heat wins and a second place. Not bad for missing so much.
