Laid Up Charters I am Capt. Scott Taylor and I enjoy guiding fly anglers of all abilities. I have been guiding since 1990 and have had my Captains Lic. since 1997. Over all Yamaha.

As far as fly fishing guides go, I am diverse. I spend the summer months running High Country Fishing Charters in Pagosa Springs, CO. Here my guides and I offer float and wade trips on the famous San Juan River chasing trout. In the spring and fall I am down in the glades searching for Tarpon, Snook, and Redfish. In the winter I am the Training Coordinator / ski instructor at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

This last season was my 29th year teaching and crushing powder. The Everglades are my favorite spot in all of Florida to hunt for Laid Up Tarpon, Snook, and Redfish! We will fish out of a 18' Hells Bay Waterman with a 60 hp.
