My name is John Parks, and welcome to my RemyFit Training page! As a profession, I am a Certified Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach. These things define what I love to do, but not the driving forces behind my decision to follow my true passion - Fitness. ce issues, and health issues, I decided it was time to make a change. In 2012 - I hit an all-time high in weight, coming in over the 300 pound mark. I saw a picture of myself, and did not even know the person in the photo. It was a sad, defeated person - despite the smile for the camera. After hitting rock-bottom, I decided to make a change and transform my life. This consisted of learning about my body, working out, and making better nutritional choices. Without the help of many, I would have possibly never found a way to live healthily, and happily! Since my realization point, there have definitely been ups-and-downs, but over the last three years, I have really got to a point where I know I will always live a healthy lifestyle, and know when to call myself out if things get a little bit indulgent! Nobody is perfect, but if we make health the norm, we can have some fun and not completely let go of ourselves (which is easier than it seems!). Since making the transformation, I can not express the amount of times I have amazed myself at what I can accomplish - physically, mentally, and professionally. At RemyFit - I strive to empower people to be the person that they want to be! A lot of times, the confidence and energy found in creating a healthy lifestyle, can go a long way in making positive changes for our body, and our minds!
