Tonight we celebrated two more seniors who earned college baseball scholarships. Evan Chisholm signed a letter of intent to play for Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen and Brady Hamer signed to play for Blue Mountain College in Pendleton.

Congrats to Noxx Worrell and Carson Swanson for earning players of the week. Noxx pitched a complete game against La Center and drove in the winning run to lead us back to the state tournament. Carson had a big performance in our intersquad - going 2 for 2 with a double plus a key sacrifice bunt.

Brady Hamer and Evan Chisholm are the players of the week. Brady pitched 10 shutout innings with 22 strikeouts and offensively had 7 hits, 6 RBI & scored 7 runs. Evan was swinging a hot bat too, going 6 for 8 with 7 RBI & 3 walks.

Castle Rock Varsity Beat Castle Rock Varsity

Castle Rock Varsity were triumphant over Castle Rock Varsity 5-3 on Friday at Castle Rock High School.

Castle Rock Varsity got on the board in the first inning after a steal of home scored one run.

Tucker Walling singled down the right field line on a full count, which helped Castle Rock Varsity tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

Castle Rock Varsity took the lead in the top of the second inning after Aaron Randolph was struck by a pitch, and Castle Rock Varsity scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Carson Swanson earned the win for Castle Rock Varsity. The righty allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking two. Jerry Neighbors took the loss for Castle Rock Varsity. The starter went two innings, giving up three runs on two hits, striking out three and walking two. Aaron Randolph appeared in relief for Castle Rock Varsity.

Jack Kerker, Brady Hamer, and Carson Swanson each collected one hit for Castle Rock Varsity. JJ Soden led the team with one run batted in.

Jerry Neighbors, Jayden Anderson, and Tucker Walling each collected two hits for Castle Rock Varsity. Jayden Anderson, Tucker Walling, and Noxx Worrell each drove in one run for Castle Rock Varsity. Castle Rock Varsity turned one double play in the game. Castle Rock Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Jayden Anderson had the most chances in the field with seven.

2026-05-07 was a lovely evening for the last game for these Senior players: Isaac Rice, Evan Chisholm, Luke Farland, Jack Kerker, Tucker Walling, Ryan Dewey, Jerry Neighbors, Brady Hamer, JJ Soden, Jackson Ribelin, Stuart Teter. They will be missed!!

Castle Rock Varsity Roll Past SHS BULLDOGS 2026

Castle Rock Varsity won big over SHS BULLDOGS 2026 15-1 on Thursday at Castle Rock High School.

Castle Rock Varsity got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Jack Kerker doubled, scoring one run, JJ Soden doubled, scoring one run, Luke Farland singled, scoring one run, Tucker Walling singled, scoring one run, Evan Chisholm tripled, scoring two runs, and Brady Hamer singled, scoring one run.

Castle Rock Varsity added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Evan Chisholm hit a sacrifice fly, and SHS BULLDOGS 2026 dropped a third strike, each scoring one run.

Castle Rock Varsity extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Tucker Walling, Evan Chisholm, and Jackson Ribelin.

Castle Rock Varsity scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth on an inside the park home run by Stuart Teter.

Evan Chisholm earned the win for Castle Rock Varsity. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. OWEN MADDUX took the loss for SHS BULLDOGS 2026. The righty went two and one-third innings, giving up 12 runs (10 earned) on 12 hits, striking out four and walking one. Jack Kerker collected the save.

Castle Rock Varsity accumulated 18 hits in the game. Evan Chisholm led Castle Rock Varsity with four runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The pitcher went 2-for-3 on the day. Jack Kerker and Tucker Walling each collected three hits for Castle Rock Varsity. JJ Soden, Stuart Teter, Luke Farland, and Brady Hamer each collected multiple hits for Castle Rock Varsity. Castle Rock Varsity were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. JJ Soden had the most chances in the field with seven.

PARKER LANGEL and ROWAN SPENCER each collected one hit for SHS BULLDOGS 2026. HENRY WHEELER led the team with one run batted in.
