Very proud of our two Eagle Bowlers, Landon Fitzgerald and Jesicah Poole, who participated in the TSSAA Individual Tournament today in Smyrna.

Landon finished 7th out of 48 bowlers, narrowly missing out on the final round.

Jesicah finished 17th out of 48 bowlers.

Way to represent Rhea County!!!

Sectional Round Update

Your Lady Eagles defeated Lebanon 22-5 to earn their 4th consecutive trip to the TSSAA State Tournament.

Your Golden Eagles defeated Lebanon 21-6 to earn their FIRST EVER trip to the TSSAA State Tournament.

Both teams will be in action on Thursday, January 23 in Smyrna, TN.

Today, your Golden Eagle and Lady Eagles traveled to Hixson for the TSSAA Region 3 Tournament.

The Lady Eagles were dominant throughout the day, beating Tullahoma in the first round and Lawrence County in the final to claim the Region 3 Championship. The Lady Eagles will be back in action in the Sectional Round on Friday, January 17, 2025 at home, Crystal Lanes, in Dayton, TN. Our opponent is still TBD.

The Golden Eagles began the day with Lawrence County. Despite Lawrence County jumping out to a 6-2 lead over the Eagles, we were able to battle back to win the round 20-7. In the final round, the Golden Eagles took on Tullahoma, who jumped out to a 12-4 lead over the Eagles after the 10-pin games. Your Golden Eagles came alive during the Bakers Games, rolling massive games of 249 and 222 to come back and win the Region 3 Championship. Your Golden Eagles will be back in action in the Sectional Round next week (date TBD) at home, Crystal Lanes, in Dayton, TN. Our opponent is still TBD.

Congratulations to the Eagles who were named to the All Region Tournament Team.
