We are very excited to share that Boston Dogs Defenseman Luca Mestrandrea has committed to the University of Cincinnati for 2026-2027 season. Luca is a smooth skating two way defenseman who appeared in 29 games for the Boston Dogs in the NCDC this season. Learn more about Luca on our website!

University of Cincinnati Men’s Ice Hockey is proud to share that Jason Kelce has committed to the Bearcats for the 2026-2027. Jason was an offensive force for the Cleveland Heights Tigers racking up 95 points in 98 games. Jason add physicality, size and Super Bowl rings to the Bearcats line up for next season.

We have another commitment for the 2026-2027 season, forward Carter Gnau. Carter comes to the Bearcats after putting up big numbers at Carroll High and with the Louisiana Drillers in the NA3HL. We have our first international commitment for the 2026-2027 season, Slovak forward Adam Straka. Adam joins the Bearcats after spending time at Bishop’s College School Varsity and with Universel Collège Sherbrooke in the NCDC. We have our first commitment for the 2026-2027 season, Fort Wayne Spacemen Defenseman Rex Woolington. Rex comes to the Bearcats after 2 season with the Fort Wayne Spacemen.
