MEMORIAL ATHLETICS APP UPDATE
Last night, Ballfrog, the platform that manages the Memorial Athletics App, released several exciting new updates.
With these updates, some users may have noticed changes in the app or experienced difficulty accessing team chats.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these updates and continue improving the app experience for our families, athletes, coaches, and fans.
Below are a few important updates and notes to help address any concerns you may have experienced.

TEAM INSIDER
You may now see the term Team Insider in the app. This is part of an updated membership system that expands what private team access means.
Team Insiders have access to:
• Private team chat
• Private calendar events, such as practices
• Additional team-specific access
When someone requests Team Insider access, they will be asked to identify whether they are a Player, Parent, or Staff member. Admins will review and approve these requests.
Anyone can still follow a team as a Fan to see public posts, updates, and information. That part has not changed.

CURRENT CHAT MEMBERS
Anyone who was already approved for an existing team chat may receive a one-time prompt asking them to confirm their connection to the team.
Please follow the prompts, and once completed, you should regain full access to your team chat as before.

NEW USERS- DOWNLOAD THE APP- https://go.ballfrog.com/reitz-tiger
New users can access teams in one of two ways:
• From the team page, select Follow to follow the team as a fan.
• To request access to private team chat, select Request to Join from the chat page and follow the prompts.
Once reviewed and approved, private team access will be granted.

NEW FEATURES FOR COACHES AND TEAMS
The app update also includes several new features:
RSVPs FOR EVENTS
Coaches can now request RSVPs from players, parents, or staff for events. Responses will be tracked directly in the app.
POLLS
Coaches can create polls in team chats for players and parents to vote on.
POST ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND VIEW COUNTS
Admins can now see who has viewed a team chat post. They can also mark important posts as requiring acknowledgement, which prompts players to confirm they have read the message.

CALENDAR SYNC REMINDER
If you use the calendar sync feature, you may need to re-subscribe using a new link in order to access all events going forward.
The app will prompt you if this step is needed.
