Hey Evansville residents I’m looking to see how much interest people would have in an indoor outdoor strength camp workout? Strength camp is a combination of strength training and conditioning exercises. Details below👇🏻

✅ training would start 1st week of May

✅ sessions are approximately 1hr.

✅ 1-2 sessions per week possibly 3 if there’s interest

✅ space is limited so about 8-10 people max

✅ day and time is TBD but I‘m thinking Wednesday night and Saturday late morning works best for me right now.

✅ exercise modifications/spotting/expert training provided

✅ it will be a fun encouraging atmosphere

✅ 17 years of personal and group training experience💪🏻💪🏻

Happy New Year!!!

I'm taking clients again for the New Year with a few different options available.

✅ Hybrid 1 on 1 in person training. This is personal training and online coaching combo to get the most out of your PT experience.

✅ Small group in person training up to 3-4 people in a group. This is a 3 day per week training and can include online coaching if needed.

✅ Online coaching. If you are long distance and can't do in person or like to train at home or your own gym this is for you. I coach through our Ignite app with personalized workouts to help you reach your goals. We also do weekly Zoom coaching calls to help support and keep you accountable.

Traditional strength training vs. functional training. What’s better???

Well that depends on your goals. If you’re just trying to lose weight I recommend functional training (I will explain why). But if you’re bodybuilding and you want to really develop your physique then traditional would be best.

Why functional??

✅ It targets multiple muscle groups performing together.

✅ Functional training uses movements that mimic everyday life.

✅ It helps improve balance and posture.

✅ It increases your range of motion.

✅ It should give you a better calorie burn for the workout vs. traditional.

✅ Increases muscular endurance

✅ Faster muscle recovery after workout

Why traditional?

✅It increases muscle mass and strength.

✅ Isolates one muscle group to hit hypertrophy

✅ Helps burn more calories after the workout due to muscle recovery and increased mass.

✅ Stimulates bone growth and synovial fluid in your joints.

Most people know what traditional strength training looks like but in my video below Im teaching a simple combination movement you should try in your next workout.

Sunday’s are a day of family time and a day of rest. Today my son Adam and I made a leprechaun trap for a school project.

One thing I changed this year was being more intentional as a parent. Giving my kids better quality of time with me and more of it.

Making time for the important stuff like spending quality time with your kids or your spouse is priceless. I want my kids to look back on pictures like this and say “dad was always there to help me.”

Fitness is a part of my life but not my entire life, God and family first. This is where happiness and the fullness of life come together.

Workouts can be done anywhere and equipment that helps you get the job done can be relatively inexpensive. I love suspension straps and I use them quite a bit with clients.

⚡️Here is a video of a single leg pistol squat. It’s a great place to start for people who want to get to a hands free pistol squat.🔥

This exercise works the glutes, quads, and a little bit of hamstrings. Ladies you will love this exercise because it will help lift the 🍑.
