Earlier this week Coach Early with Coach Joergens and Coach Brown from Good Shepherd were able to present a check from the charity tournament in early May to Tristan and his parents.
Here is the note from Abbe, Tristan’s mom:
During Tristan's senior year, part of his school work was cadet teaching. One of the schools was Good Shepherd. In the previous years, he was involved with Tiger archery. He got sick prior to being able to participate in archery his senior year.
Yesterday we had a very emotional moment with some very wonderful people. We want to express our sincerest gratitude to Evansville Tiger archery, especially the Memorial and Good Shepherd programs including all coaches, archers and fans for their support for our family. Good Shepherd archery has annual fund raising events and decided to share part of it with us. We are very humbled by their hard work and generosity, and are forever grateful.
We met at Memorial, after school was closed and most were gone from the building. Tristan was able to see a two former teachers, the principal and a former classmate Addelyn! I wish we'd gotten a pictures of them. It was such a short visit; they're never long enough these days.
