This is an appreciation post about one of our guys who has been there since game 1. Ian not only serves his community in Lawrence, Indiana but also is an exemplary human outside of work and off the ice. We appreciate everything that Ian has done, and stands out as a true leader. Last year he unofficially was captain of the fire team, but we want to make sure this year that not only is he official on paper, but proudly wearing it on his jersey. We appreciate you Ian and congratulations!

The link for ticket sales is live! We have had to up the prices this year due to increased expenses. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for those 5-17 years old, and under 5 are free.

Tickets can be bought at the door (opens at 6:45 PM) or online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1996826211953?aff=oddtdtcreator. Scanning the QR code on the flyer works as well. We accept cash, tap to pay, PayPal, or Venmo at the door.

We are looking for sponsors, Volunteers, and players! Spots are filling fast! Appreciate everyone and look forward to seeing you in November.

The time as finally come! Announcing the 6th Annual Battle of the badges charity game.

This year we will be back at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center! We are pleased to be working alongside TPH Indy Rinks again in what has turned into a fantastic partnership. We look forward to continued years of working together.

Not only does the Battle of the Badges bring first responders together but also raises money for those in need. This year all proceeds will go towards the Family of Beech Grove police officer Elliot who perished in the line of duty while trying to save another. The proceeds will also be split as another officer was hospitalized with a gunshot wound and we believe they could use some extra help from their public safety family.

This years game will be held at the Indiana State fair grounds located at 1202 E 38th street Indianapolis, IN 46205. November 7th, 2026 (Saturday). The Ice sheet is currently subject to change so for now enter through the Weaver popcorn youth pavilion entrance located on the East side of Corteva Coliseum. We will update everyone if the entrances change.

Doors open at 6:45 PM (Subject to change), Warmups, with puck drop at 7:30. We are trying to have a full merchandise booth set up this year, and will be taking Pre-orders for jerseys now. Cost is $125 & includes custom name/number on the back. Please message us or go to our website at www.botbindy.org.

We appreciate all the help and support that is show to us every year. We are always looking for help staffing the game, sponsorships, or donations.

We have made some new friends on sleds! We look forward to hosting our event towards the end of the year (TBD), but our friends at disabled hockey will be hosting a game between police VS fire. We have several of our guys playing in the game and it would be a great event to attend. Help us raise money for the Indiana disabled hockey organization. Admission is free!

We have been pretty dormant with posts. We are still planning on hosting a game this year but the work around with schedules, available ice, and prices make that hard in central Indiana. Just make sure to follow us to stay updated.

On a more important note, one of our good friends down south in Evansville has had a significant emergency arise. He has played on our fire team before….fought hard on the ice for charity, and now we are looking to help donate to his cause.
