Hello my little fishy families! ☀️
This will be my 6th year giving swim lessons, and I’m excited to announce my summer 2026 swim lesson schedule. You may notice there are not as many available time slots as in years past. As many of you know, I am in my first year of doctorate school for Occupational Therapy at USI which is taking up a lot of my time. I am very grateful that my summer schedule allows me to still offer lessons at all this year. With that being said, since I am making this schedule so far in advance of getting my summer class syllabus, please be flexible if we have to change your time slots for a certain day due to mandatory class activities.
Below are my prices for this summer, location, a few do’s and don’ts when coming to swim lessons, and some answers to common questions I get. If there are still questions after, please feel free to text me (812)306-7956.
PRICES
30 minutes: $25.00
1 hour: $45.00
LOCATION
Swim lessons will be held at my home pool, located in the Evansville area (address will be provided upon booking).
PARENT/GUARDIAN ATTENDANCE
🐠If you are bringing multiple children to a lesson, I ask that you please remain off the pool deck and instead sit at one of the tables on the side of the pool. This helps me maintain full attention on your child while I am in the water with them.
🐠please be considerate of other families that are getting swim lessons. There is plenty of seating in the back yard. I ask that your child not interrupt a current swim lesson if one is happening.
🐠If your child is timid or anxious, I kindly ask that you try to remain out of sight during the lesson. Many children look to their parents for reassurance, but they can also pick up on fear or hesitation. I promise that even if your child cries during the lesson, it does not bother me at all and I’m using that time to build a good relationship with them—most of the time, they make significant progress by the end of the session.
AGES I OFFER SWIM LESSONS TO
🐠 I offer swim lessons to children ages 3-about 11 (my pool is not an in ground pool, so it might not benefit older children)
🐠I will work with children under 3 introducing them to water and working on their comfort levels with the water.
❗️I am not ISR certified and this is not what I offer❗️
WHAT TO BRING
☀️Towels
☀️Sunscreen
☀️Swim diapers (if not potty trained or prone to accidents)
☀️Earplugs if needed (swimmer headbands can also be helpful with earplugs)
☀️Goggles (recommended for more advanced swimmers only)
I do not recommend goggles for little ones who are still getting comfortable in the water, as they can create dependence and reduce confidence and safety skills if they were to fall into open water.
DO NOT BRING
🐟Puddle jumpers or floaties
While they may seem helpful, they can create a false sense of security and limit a child’s ability to learn proper water skills.
As always, you are welcome to take as many photos as you’d like and feel free to share them on social media—please tag my swim lesson page.✨📸✨
I can’t wait for another great summer of swim lessons! ☀️
This will be a one-on-one private swim lesson session held at my home pool.If you are bringing multiple children to a lesson, I ask that you please remain off the pool deck and instead sit at one of the tables on the side of the pool. This helps me maintain full attention on your child while I am in
