Some thoughts and numbers from the 2023 summer Legends FC season. The OVPL season came to an end today. To date this has been in my opinion the best season yet competition wise within the OVPL but more important the development of our high school and college players! College and High School coaches know your guys are returning to their fall seasons ready to compete!!! This is year 3 for Legends and we are now seeing the once young guys start to become the older guys mentoring the new young players! So AWESOME to see our 16 year olds get competition against men and competing/providing for the team-showing all they do belong. My coaching staff has done an amazing job juggling vacations, injuries, work, training and games. Not once did we start a game with the same roster or starting eleven! It has killed me not to be able to attend any training sessions(do to working nights) but I am at ease knowing all my boys are in good hands!!
