A kitten has been in the park. Guessing 7 to 10 weeks old. Has anyone lost one? Call the camp host at 319-493-0655 if it is yours.

Please note: this does not affect current guests in the park. This is to give a heads up to people who may want to come to the Campground. The WaterHawks are holding Nationals at Eagle Lake the Weekend of August 6th thru 9th. The Campground is full with reservations. It would be a good weekend to go watch the competition. We have been told there is no admission fee just a five dollar per car to park.

Christmas in July. Once again, the hit was Santa! He made an appearance and wandered around the campground. He even lead the lighted golf cart parade. The night ended with fireworks, courtesy of CVYSA. Thank you to all that participated.

Thankfully, we were not affected very much by the river levels. The issues we had with the pump going out for one of our lift stations, which kept the park closed longer than anticipated, is now fixed. We are opened for business and the reservation system is back up online.

The river is on the rise, again! Due to the current predictions the campground is closed to any new guests at this time. This allows us to accommodate the guests currently in the Park. At current predictions the river should crest Sunday morning at 4am. We will update this page when the Campground reopens.

Current in the Park guests will be sent a message if you are in an area that is of concern. We should get updates again tonight after 9 PM and then again tomorrow morning. That will give us a better idea of the next steps to take.

As always, this far out, predictions can change. We monitor them multiple times a day. We will update here as needed.

Mother Nature spared us. The river is predicted to crest at 10.3’ tomorrow evening. The campground is open again. We do have a few sites that have ground water due to excessive rainfall.... those sites remain closed. Wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July!
