I don’t relate to fitness influencers on social media. 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t even relate to most of the fit moms on social media.
Honestly, I’d relate to people posting about how their mental health effected their nutrition and workouts this week. I’d relate to people that don’t necessarily love to work out but still try to make it happen when they can. I’d relate to people who’s houses are chaos, who can’t afford meal prep services, and who don’t cook fancy healthy meals.
As much as I want to come on here and talk about how much I love to workout, how “the grind don’t stop”, how I’m so creative with my meals, how I’m super consistent with my workouts but that’s just not my reality. And I feel like other moms need to hear that.
I post workouts on the days I have the emotional bandwidth to do so but the other days I probably have super low energy, or I’m insanely overstimulated by my kids or I’m having a bad mental health day.
And all of that, is why I do what I do. Of course I want to help anyone I can, but my heart is for the moms and the mental health warriors. I want people to know that you can still take care of and learn to love your body with no extremes. You can do it at your own pace and and still give yourself grace on your bad days.
So here’s to more posts that you can relate to or be encouraged by. Because you’re not alone. 💗
