Race Recap 8/29

We came in from hot laps loose and adjusted for the heat. Started P1 in our heat and finished P7. Made a few adjustments for the feature where we started P14 and finished P9. It was a well run race all around and a fun night at the track!

We have one more points race left this season and then the John Burr weekend ( 9/17 - 9/19 )!!

Race Recap 8/22

We were quick in our heat and adjusted a bit for the feature. Started P11/15 and nine laps in the RF shock decided it didn’t wanna be part of the car anymore. We (quickly) limped it off the track and were able to get it fixed with the help of the Wilmot crew and merge back under green 2 laps down. Once we got back out there the handling was the same as before and we finished a strong race.

Aunt Nicky’s Race Recap:
After a rough last two races we adjusted and got back where we want to be!
Started pole for the heat, finished P5/6.
Started the feature P9 and stayed there through a very clean green, white, checkered.
Thanks to everyone who came out tonight! We loved hanging out with everyone! As always we are so so grateful for the amazing people and business that get us here weekly!

Race Recap 8/8
Tonight started off well in hot laps and we stepped it up with a few small changes for the heat.
Started pole for our heat and finished P5/7. Which set us up with a pretty good starting position in the feature.
We started P10 in the feature and had a good consistent first half. In the second half we lost a lot of speed and dropped to the back and just finished the race.
(Next season we won’t go strait to race from summer camp🥱😮‍💨💤)
Not the night we were looking for in the end.

Race Recap 8/1
We happily missed hot laps for a friends wedding.
Started P2 in our heat and lead for 3 laps before a few of our top runners got around us and we spun ourselves fighting a loose car. Which landed us P5/6.
Feature started well and we had a good line going when we got punted ending our race. Damage isn’t all that bad. It was enough to end our night though.
It was an unfortunate end to our race, but I guess that’s racing. If you’re going to be competitive there’s going to be bumps and bruises along the way.
