We just wanted to give a quick congratulations to Chuck spinks on his beautiful Maine black bear last week. Two years in a row he’s been able to harvest a nice bear with his bow, we’re hoping for number 3 in 2027.

It might’ve been 70 and sunny in the mountains, but there was a STORMMMM in the woods yesterday. Congrats again storm on your second Maine bear on your final sit, and the last night of the 2026 spring bear season. Way to finish us off with a bang! Have a safe travel back to Florida, I’m already looking forward to the next time we get to share a hunting camp together.

A huge congrats to Matt from NH on his gorgeous Maine spring boar with his bow. Between the 50 mph gusts, torrential down pours, and thunder showers this week.. this bear was earned with lots of patience and perseverance. Nice work again on a hard fought week, can’t wait until we get to spend some more time in the woods chasing bears.

What a great start to the week, congrats to Jake from NH on your first ever black bear. 3 hours into his first sit of the week, this beautiful boar came walking in and the rest was history! Already looking forward to the next time we get to spend some time chasing animals in the western Maine mountains

One of my favorite parts about guiding, is being able to watch fathers and sons gain memories that’ll last a lifetime. This was one of those weeks… Congrats to the Sweetwater, Tennessee boys on your first trip to Maine, heading home with a couple beautiful bruins and about 150 brook trout caught. To say they had a good trip is an understatement, looking forward to the next time we get to share a hunting camp together.
