Small Town Charter Captain’s Team gets big results in The Florida Redfish Series.

Fishing out of their home area of Yankeetown Florida, Team We Be Tailing/ Q8 Super Bait's first year on the Professional Redfish Circuit came with big results as they fished tournaments throughout Florida and Louisiana in 2024. The Team is led by Captain Eric Hasty and his co-fisherman John King, they will battle it out this Friday and Saturday in the Florida Redfish Series Championship’s final two-day winner takes all round in Steinhatchee Florida.

This was their first year competing professionally against the top names in Florida. Currently ranked 13th out of 135 teams, they secured their place in the series championship round.

Their success comes from years of developing skills to target those finicky and sometimes unpredictable Redfish. There other secret is Q8 Super Bait, a hybrid scent and flavor emitting soft bait designed to mimic live prey. Its durability and biodegradability add to the success in these tournaments. Look for Eric and John in upcoming tournaments, and possibly on the podium this Saturday.

Blown away by some fishing results in really difficult conditions . Very very few fish . I think we managed to catch most that were in the streams with sone Q8 Salmon baits. What an opportunity to learn and see the results of rimless hours spent by so many people helping with the development of this idea . I am thankful…. Very thankful
