Contrary to common belief and based upon our successful hunts, airboats offer a better chance of stalking Alligators. Your guide will be one or both of the principals of OCG and they have been hunting Alligators for over 10 years. In the late summer before hunting season, our guides scout new areas and check on old ones. Proper prior planning is of primary importance and aids us in a successful hu
nt. Each boat carries all safety gear, rain gear, coolers for beverages, and snacks in addition to hunting gear. Alcoholic beverages are strictly PROHIBITED! Mounting options are based upon alligator size and style of mount. OCG works with Dolphi's Taxidermy and will provide an estimate of pricing for additional taxidermy options. Until your hunt is complete, an actual price cannot be agreed upon. Your guide will discuss the aspects of the hunt with you prior to departing the dock. This includes safety first, what to expect, what you may see, how and where to aim, what happens after you harpoon or hook the gator, and how we get the gator in the boat safely. We will discuss your desired trophy with the understanding that even though we all want a 12 footer, the bigger the gator, the smarter the gator! We want you to have a reasonable expectation of success. Our areas of coverage include but are not limited to all lakes, rivers, canals, and navigable waterways in: Lake, Volusia, Orange, Seminole, Marion, and Sumter Counties.
