Professor Brian Ruscio is a 3rd Degree Gracie Barra BJJ Black Belt and Official Bang Muay Thai Coach under Duane “Bang” Ludwig. Brian Ruscio started Wrestling and competing at 4 years of age, eventually competing on a National level and becoming a Coach and Referee. In 2005 he began

learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Gracie Barra 7th Degree Coral Belt, Marcio Simas, and Muay Thai with Mejiro Gym’s, Bobby Robare. Brian started teaching his style of mixed martial arts in 2013 when he opened Grappling Mastery in Lake County, Florida. Eventually looking to Duane Ludwig about a year later as his new Muay Thai Coach. Professor Ruscio actively competes on the World level at the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federations (IBJJF) World Jiu Jitsu Championships, or “Mundials”, and on a National Level for USA Wrestling. He recently achieved Greco-Roman All-American status in 2023. He is also a North American Grappling Association Pan American Expert Division Champion. Brian’s goal, with Grappling Mastery, is to lead you and other members to become champions in life and on the mats.
