Don't forget to sign up for Mixed League!

We’re excited to announce that Humboldt County Pickleball Club will be offering a Mixed League this summer!

This league is open to all skill levels and is a great opportunity for our club members to participate in a fun, competitive league format. Whether you are looking to play more mixed doubles, get more match experience, or practice for the Joe Kurtz Tournament, this will be a great way to get on the courts and compete in a supportive club environment.

The league will run for six weeks on Wednesdays from June 10th through July 22nd at College of the Redwoods, starting at 5:30 PM each week. League play will be run through the Pickle-Heads app.

Players will sign up with a set partner, and subs will be allowed if needed. All skill levels are welcome, and we encourage everyone interested to join in. If this league goes well, we look forward to offering more league opportunities throughout the year.

FREE members-only pickleball scramble on Friday, May 9 at Highland Park!

Event Schedule:

Play begins: 9:00 AM Women’s Doubles & 11:00 AM Men’s Doubles at Highland Park.
Format:

Round-robin scramble
Women’s Doubles & Men’s Doubles
Players will switch partners each game, play to 11, and win by 2.
We will have a 15-minute time limit on games.

Good Morning Picklers!

What an incredible weekend of pickleball at Bear River! Our local community truly showed up to play, and we are so proud of the energy and competition we saw on the courts!

A Huge Thank You to Our Team! This tournament wouldn’t have been possible without our tournament committee and dedicated volunteers for ensuring the event ran so smoothly. To everyone who pitched in—thank you! It truly takes a team and lots of pre-planning.

We also want to extend our gratitude to the 67 players who competed and our amazing sponsors. Your support is the backbone of these events and allows us to keep growing the sport in our community.

A big thank you to the Bear River Recreation Center for hosting us. It is truly a premier indoor facility, and their support made for a successful, well-run tournament. We are already looking forward to returning for another Bear River tournament in 2027!

Results & DUPR: All tournament results have been finalized on Fwango, and scores have been reported to DUPR.
