Today’s the day! 🐸🚲

We’re proud to partner with the organizers of The Mad Scramble to bring this beloved race back to the community.

This year is a big milestone: for the first time, the Mad Scramble is a fundraiser for the City of Blue Lake’s Bike & Skate Park project, which RCMBA has been proud to support since its inception in 2019. In years past, the race benefited the Annie & Mary Trail—another great project serving the Blue Lake community, led by an incredible group of organizers who really set the stage for community action.

With funds raised today, RCMBA’s donations in support of the Bike & Skate Park project will exceed $50,000, not including the hundreds of volunteer hours and in-kind contributions made possible by YOU - our members and community. Big thanks to y'all!

Weather’s looking like it will clear, so come race, cheer, and support the cause!

Limited same-day registration available. The party starts at 11.

Let’s scramble.

Join us as Scott Morris shares the history of the Weaver Basin Trail system at the next TCHS meeting on Saturday, March 8. The program will be on the genesis and history of the Weaver Basil Trail System and how it came to be, including historically significant features of the system and future potential for sharing our historical and natural history with visitors to Trinity County. There are over fifty miles of connecting trails that wind through various climatic zones and along mountain streams and numerous mining sites. The Weaver Basin Trail System has become nationally and internationally recognized as an important mountain biking and multiuser trail system.

Our potluck will be held at 2:00 p.m., with the program following at 3:00 p.m. Join us at the First Baptist Church on Main Street, Weaverville. You don’t have to be a member to attend. We hope to see you there.
