We are so thrilled to announce the commitment of Miley Snellgrove to College of the Redwoods Softball! 🥎❤️💛

Miley is a RHP/DP who attends Castro Valley High School and competes with West Coast Wolverines - Pearson. We had the opportunity to watch Miley compete at the Memorial Day Superior Showcase Tournament, where she immediately stood out to our staff. We clocked Miley averaging 61 mph in the circle, and we were impressed by the way she competed, attacked hitters, and carried herself on the field.

Miley is not only a strong presence in the circle, but she is also a great hitter and a great person. She brings the type of work ethic, competitiveness, and confidence we look for in our program, and we believe she has the ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball.

Miley came up for a visit and absolutely loved the school, the area, and everything CR has to offer. From the start, it felt like a great fit, and we are so excited that she has chosen to continue her academic and athletic career with us.

At Castro Valley High School, Miley is a 2x Second Team All-League selection and has continued to grow each year as a pitcher, hitter, and teammate. She brings toughness, energy, and a team-first mindset that will fit right in with the culture we are building here at CR.

We can’t wait to officially welcome Miley to the Redwoods family and start off our 2027 class with such a great addition. Welcome to the Woods, Miley! 🌲🥎❤️💛

We are so thrilled to announce that Isabel Sanchez from Fortuna Union High School has decided to continue her academic and athletic career at College of the Redwoods! 🥎❤️💛

Isa is a right-handed pitcher and utility player who has been on our radar for the last few years, and we could not be more excited to officially welcome her to the Redwoods family. She brings a rare combination of toughness, leadership, athleticism, and competitiveness that we know will make an immediate impact in our program.

At the plate, Isa has been a consistent force, batting leadoff and finishing her high school career with a .391 career batting average. In the circle, she has been just as dominant, recording 225 strikeouts in her senior season alone and 628 total strikeouts throughout her high school career. She finished second all-time in career strikeouts, only behind Hailey Dolcini, who went on to play at the University of Texas.

Throughout her high school and travel ball career, Isa has consistently demonstrated leadership both on and off the field. Her determination and ability to overcome adversity have shaped her into the kind of athlete who elevates those around her.

As a pitcher, Isa competes with confidence and toughness in the circle. She has the ability to challenge hitters, stay composed under pressure, and battle through difficult situations. Every time she steps on the field, she brings intensity, grit, and a fierce competitive spirit.

Off the field, Isa has shown the same dedication in the classroom and within her community. She has balanced the demands of being a student-athlete while continuing to grow as a leader and role model. She was also recognized with Best Female Individual Performance and Female Athlete of the Year.

We can’t wait to keep Isa close to home and watch her continue to grow right here in the redwoods. We know she will do great things here. Welcome to CR, Isa! 🌲🥎❤️💛

Congratulations as well to a few other ladies on our team who also graduated but did not walk today. 🎉 We are so proud of everything you have accomplished during your time at College of the Redwoods. Thank you for the hard work, leadership, memories, and love you poured into this program.

Although your time at CR may be coming to an end, you will always be a part of the Redwoods family🌲🥎

We can’t wait to see where life takes you next and are so excited for your next journey. We love you all and are beyond proud of the women you’ve become.

We are excited to announce the commitment of Bella Arriola from Del Norte High School to College of the Redwoods Softball! ❤️💛

Bella has been a varsity player since her freshman year and comes from a Del Norte program that has won three conference championships. She brings a competitive mindset and knows what it takes to be part of a winning culture.

Bella is a four-year honor roll student and plans to complete the dental assistant program at CR, continuing to succeed both on and off the field.

She is a competitive player who wants to work hard and continues to push herself to get better. Bella is a natural leader and brings exactly the type of attitude we want in this program.

We are excited to welcome Bella to the Redwoods family and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes during her time at CR! 🌲🥎🔥

Super excited to announce that sophomore Sidney Sherrod has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Goshen College in Indiana.

So proud of you, Sid. The way you’ve represented our program, stayed ready, and showed up every day does not go unnoticed. They’re getting a competitor and a great teammate.

CR Softball is looking for auction items for our Sports Auction on August 13.

This event directly supports our program—funding equipment, travel, and opportunities for our athletes. Last fall, because of this event, we were able to travel and compete against two Division II programs.

We’re currently looking for auction items. If you or your business would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate your support.

Gift cards, experiences, services, merchandise—anything helps.

All donations are tax-deductible.
