Ten Thousand LCCF-branded Apparel

Great news—our Ten Thousand representative has waived the minimum order requirement for LCCF-branded apparel 🎉

Ten Thousand offers high-end performance gear, comparable in quality and price to brands like Lululemon. I’ve shared a few example items for reference, but there are additional options listed in the email I previously sent, along with the full price list. I’ll resend that information shortly so it’s easy to find.

One note: Ten Thousand currently produces men’s apparel only. That said, they’re actively developing a women’s line, which is expected to launch in May.

In the meantime, we’d love to move forward with an order for anyone who’s interested. If that’s you, please reach out and submit your order by Friday, January 23rd.

We’re exploring a Lost Coast CrossFit × Ten Thousand custom apparel collaboration and want to gauge member interest before placing a bulk order.

Ten Thousand is a premium performance apparel brand built for athletes who train across everything we do in CrossFit — lifting, running, rucking, and more. This gear is higher quality than typical gym apparel, and because of that, we’ll only move forward if we have at least 25 pre-orders.

👕 Current offerings are MEN’S apparel
👟 A WOMEN’S line is in development and expected to drop May 2026
➡️ If there’s enough interest now, we’ll submit an order. If not, we’ll revisit once both lines are available.

We’re beyond proud of our own, Christine Hamilton, as she heads to the Worlds Rafting Championship in Malaysia with her whitewater rafting team, The Furies! 🔥

Christine has been putting in serious work both in the gym and on the water in preparation for this event. She credits CrossFit as a crucial part of building the strength, power, and endurance she needs to attack every rapid with confidence and control.

Our 6-week challenge has kicked off and tomorrow we are discussing nutrition. It’s a great reminder for all of us to check in with ourselves about how we are fueling our bodies!

Remember CrossFits’s nutrition prescription: “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.” - Greg Glassman, Founder of CrossFit

1. “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds…”

This focuses on whole, unprocessed foods — real food sources that provide the essential macronutrients:

• Protein: from meat, fish, eggs (supports muscle repair & strength)
• Carbohydrates: from vegetables and fruit (fuel for training)
• Fats: from nuts, seeds, and healthy oils (support hormones, joints, recovery)

2. “Some fruit, little starch, and no sugar.”

CrossFit encourages carb quality and moderation.

• Fruit: nutrient-dense natural sugars
• Starch (potatoes, rice, etc.): okay in moderation
• Sugars: Avoid added sugars and processed carbs to support energy balance and reduce inflammation

3. “Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.”

The key principle here is to fuel performance, not overconsume.

• Enough calories → energy and recovery
• Not excessive → prevents fat gain and metabolic dysfunction

🧠 Big Picture:

CrossFit views nutrition as the foundation of fitness — the base of the CrossFit pyramid (below metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, weightlifting, and sport).

Without proper nutrition, athletes can’t perform, recover, or progress effectively.

THE MONTH AHEAD – SEPTEMBER 2025 🍃🍂🍁🏋🏽‍♀️💪
�The final month of Phase III is here and we dove right into it yesterday with our Labor Day Hero Workout: Whitten setting the tone for the month.

Just having come out of our 3RM strength cycle, we will beginn to work on another block of “just lifting.” During this period we will see 1-2 lifts per week that will help prepare us for our final strength cycle that starts in October. Expect to see some Bench Press/ Overhead Squats/ and Power Cleans along with a few other lifts to keep our strength well rounded. This will work nicely in tandem with our Extra Credit work which will focus around developing better positions with the Power Clean and blasting the abs with quick finisher-esque ab work.

We will also see the Classic Benchmark: Fran+/ Fran this month to challenge everyone, advanced and new, with one of CrossFit’s most iconic workouts. For skill development we will spend time with the Chest to Bar and Static Hold skills sessions which might not sound exciting, but , if you started you them today with our static Bulgarian Split Squat, Weighted Glute Bridge and Wall Sit holds, you know that they will be TOUGH! Stand Tall, a classic NCFIT workout that pays tribute to all those that were affected by the events of 9/11, will be another major highlight of this month and should be a workout everyone is on the lookout to complete.

We will still see shorter interval workouts and SPRINT style workouts multiple times a week to keep adding fuel to the fire for one more month before we shift gears into PHASE IV: REIGNITE!
