It’s not a standup Paddleboard, but yes standing and paddling. Every January 6, Venice celebrates the Regata della Befana, a festive rowing race on the Grand Canal. About fifty rowers dressed as La Befana, Italy’s traditional gift-giving witch, race from San Tomà to the Rialto Bridge in traditional boats. Organized by the Bucintoro rowing club, the event marks the end of the holiday season and concludes with a prize of sweets at the Rialto, blending sport, folklore, and Venetian tradition. 🇮🇹
