Acadian Medical Center will be offering FREE health physicals for student athletes on Monday, May 4th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

This is a great opportunity to ensure your child is ready for the upcoming athletic seasons. Please remember that all student athletes in grades 6–12 for the 2026-2027 school year are required to have a current health physical on file before participating in any tryouts, practices, or games.

We are excited to welcome Coach Jacob Aguillard to St. Edmund Catholic School!

With nine years of coaching and educational experience, including time as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Sacred Heart, Coach Aguillard brings strong leadership and a commitment to excellence rooted in the Catholic faith.

Coach Aguillard, his wife Claire (St. Edmund alumna), and their three boys are already part of our community, and we are proud to have them leading our Blue Jay athletic programs.

Day 2 of the LHSAA State Powerlifting Meet has come to an end, and the Lady Jays finished with a bang!

Junior Brooklynn Fontenot fought through some tough competition to earn the title of State Runner-Up. After just missing the podium last year, Brooklynn came back stronger and claimed a top spot this year.

Sophomore Brylee Brown also competed with true Blue Jay pride, finishing 6th in her weight class. She never gave up and gave everything she had through her very last lift.

Both young ladies recorded multiple personal bests and improved their totals from last year’s state meet.

When you see Brooklynn and Brylee, be sure to let them know how proud we are of their effort, determination, and sportsmanship. These two are not finished yet — they are already setting goals to come back even stronger next year!

St. Edmund Catholic School is proud to celebrate a special milestone!

Today we recognize senior Caroline Lavergne on her signing day as she takes the next step in her academic and athletic journey. Caroline has accepted an offer to continue her education after graduation on a softball scholarship at Northwest Florida State College.

Her hard work, dedication, and commitment both in the classroom and on the field have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see all she achieves at the next level.
