Warsaw Hoopfest

Warsaw Hoopfest The 17th annual Warsaw Hoopfest is nonprofit day of basketball held at the University of Oregon's Matthew Knight Arena for 5th-8th grade boys and girls.

Rather than having our traditional competitive 3v3 basketball tournament where kids strictly play, we will instead be conducting a day of basketball and other fun activities where children will continuously learn throughout the day. Participants will be involved in an entire day of game day activities including skills challenges, 3-pt contests, round robin play and more. This being said, we will b

e fostering more of a “Day Camp” like environment. As always, we will still have Oregon Athletes present at the event to encourage the children, and in addition, participants will have the opportunity to listen to well respected members of the UO Athletic Department to get insight on why it is important to be a respectable athlete. Proceeds benefit the Stephen Dember Memorial Scholarship Fund, as well as the KIDSPORTS Emerald Scholarship Fund. All community members are encouraged to attend. More information to come.
